About
In 1985, Agape Care & Share began as part of the outreach mission of Agape Faith Church. As part of its desire to serve the greater Winston-Salem community, the church began a food pantry and started serving the needy in our community.
In 2006, Agape Care & Share incorporated and is a legally recognized nonprofit organization exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Agape Care & Share operates in a 4,000 square foot building located at 3650-G Patterson Avenue in Winston-Salem, NC. The normal hours of operation for the facility are Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. There may be other hours for additional programs.
We partner with organizations like the Second Harvest Food Bank, as well as with other local businesses that enable us to give to those who are in need. As the saying goes, “You can give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, or you can teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.” Not only do we provide food, but we also assist individuals and families with their personal development.
At Agape Care & Share, we recognize the need for practical training in a wide variety of areas and constantly strive to prepare our staff and volunteers to minister to the whole man.
